Its Finally Here

yeah, the trailer for New Line Cinema and Samual L Jackson vehicle "Snakes on a Plane" is finally here, and man does it really rock. In case you were wondering, yes this is a real movie, and yes it is supposed to be out this year. From the IMDB.com snakes on plane website:

Never Ever Drink Beast

Well never drink beast. On a side note, the reason i posted this video is because it made me remeber a time when we found a beast of some sort of my dad's, or maybe it was an old milwaukee that was about ten years old. Someone drank some of it, and im not sure who it was, when it was or who was there. Anyone able to help me out?

Buck Martinez is a freaking Idiot

And if you don't think so, just watch how the guy has mismanaged the Americans in the World Baseball Classic.

While every other team has used the DH rule to their full ability, Martinez is making double switches, and dubious decisions on playing time, acting as if he's trying not to hurt anyone's feelings. For example:

• Game 1 Martinez starts Randy Winn and Matt Schneider over Jason Varitek and outfielders Vernon Wells and Jeff Francouer. Why is Randy Winn even on this team? Wells got into the game but only as a pinch runner for Alex Rodriguez???? Why is Rodriguez ever taken out of the game. Do you think the Dominican ever thinks about taking Pujols out of a game. No. Stupid Stupid Stupid.
• Game 2 Chipper Jones gets the start at third base in place of Alex Rodriguez. I must ask again, why is a guy who is easily one of the 3 best current players in the game not playing every inning?
• Game 2 Matt Holliday starts in left field in place of Johnny Damon??? What the heck is going on? Why is Matt Holliday even on this team? And when Dontrelle gets knocked around a bit, why is Al Leiter being allowed anywhere near a pitching mound?

Unfortunately, it appears Martinez wants to manage this team like a little league team, and he's very afraid that Matt Holliday's mom is going to call him and yell at him for not getting her kid enough playing time. I have to say i agree with my fellow blogger Greg; the US should be ashamed of losing to Canada.

Im not sure if Buck Martinez caused a loss in this tournament, but he didn't do a managers job, which is to put you team in the best position to win.
